Export Certificates
A maker–checker workflow: the official vet recommends, the senior DVS authority endorses and signs. Market-specific gate checks (EUDR DDS issued, halal slaughter, pH and deboned status, zone clearance) must pass at recommendation before a signed PDF is issued.

Audit Trail
Every endorsement, revocation and binding is written to a per-tenant, hash-chained audit log. Filter by entity, action, actor or date. Row-level security keeps each tenant fully isolated.

Bind provenance across the split
Pull each animal's identity and movement history from the national registry, then record the slaughter event — preserving the many-to-many graph from holdings to carcass to consignment. The registry state is frozen as an immutable evidence snapshot.
Emit the right compliance dialect
From that one binding, draft the artifact the destination demands — EUDR DDS, Halal attestation, CBT or China dossier. Market gate checks run first; the official vet recommends and the senior authority endorses and signs.
Verify at the border, by anyone
A QR on the consignment resolves to a public, no-login page: valid/revoked status, the gate checklist, traceability counts, a holding map and a signed PDF — cryptographically verifiable all the way back to every contributing holding.

Cryptographic signatures
Artifacts are signed with Ed25519 (HSM-ready for production). Anyone can verify an artifact against the published key — no trust in us required.
Per-tenant isolation
Every tenant runs in its own database silo with row-level security enforced at runtime by a non-superuser role. No cross-tenant leakage.
No registry backdoor
METS is an accredited integrator using the same public APIs as any vendor. Your national registry stays neutral and under your control.
Tamper-evident audit
A hash-chained audit log records every endorsement, revocation and binding — defensible evidence for compliance and forensics.
