About METS

We carry provenance across the one gap nobody else owns.

National registries track the living animal to the farm gate. The chain breaks at the abattoir — exactly where billions in export value is made or lost. METS exists to carry the thread across that break, and to make the proof impossible to fake.

Why we exist

Importers can't buy what they can't verify.

The EU, the Gulf and China have tightened their rules to the point where provenance must be checkable carcass-by-carcass. Paper certificates and farm-gate registries can't meet that bar — so compliant product gets stranded.

METS binds live-animal identity to the export carcass, emits the exact compliance dialect each market demands, and ends every consignment in a public, cryptographic proof. One record, four dialects, verifiable by anyone.

Our honesty rule
METS builds the evidence and files operator statements. Market access remains a sovereign decision — we don't overclaim, we deliver verifiable proof.
What we hold to

Principles, not slogans.

Proof over promises

We don't ask anyone to trust us. Artifacts are signed and publicly verifiable; the maths does the convincing.

The honesty rule

We build evidence and file operator statements. We never claim to grant sovereign market access — overclaiming would burn the relationships the whole corridor depends on.

Neutral by construction

We integrate through the same public APIs as any vendor. No backdoors into a national registry — its neutrality is the asset we protect.

Own the split, nothing more

Registries own the live animal. We own the abattoir boundary. Clear seams keep every part of the system trustworthy.

The portfolio

One lineage, three layers of trust.

METS is part of a provenance portfolio that spans the whole life of an animal — from national identity, through the farm, to the export carcass.
